Courageous youth shape better tomorrow: Minister Dulu

Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Asadul Habib Dulu declared on Sunday that courageous youth have repeatedly driven national transformation, pointing to their decisive roles in both the 1971 War of Independence and the 2024 mass uprising.
Speaking as the chief guest at a discussion meeting organized at the Lalmonirhat Zila Parishad auditorium to mark National Youth Day, the minister emphasized that young people must now lead efforts toward national development and economic production.
Minister Asadul Habib Dulu stated that youth must work with patriotism, sincerity, and bravery to build a humane and democratic Bangladesh.
Expressing grave concern over local social issues, the minister highlighted that narcotics, gambling, child marriage, and dowry have become silent threats affecting families across Lalmonirhat district.
The discussion meeting was addressed by Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner Muh. Rashedul Haq Pradhan, Zila Parishad Administrator A.K.M. Mominul Haq, Superintendent of Police Md. Asaduzzaman, and Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mononita Das, among other senior officials.
