Court Correspondent
Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan said on Sunday that the trial will be conducted separately in two benches of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court from next week.
The chief justice announced this in the courtroom of the Appellate Division today after the proceedings started in the morning.
Due to the shortage of judges in the Appellate Division for a long time, the trial was being conducted in one bench. Already, three judges have been appointed in the Appellate Division. Now, there are eight judges in the Appellate Division, including the chief justice.
On April 25, three newly appointed judges were sworn in.
