Thefts in three places, two injured in Debiganj

In Debiganj of Panchagarh, there have been incidents of theft at three different places. Two persons were seriously injured in this incident and are undergoing treatment at Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

On Tuesday night, thefts occurred in three different places in Debiganj municipality. The three separate places are Saha Hasking Mill in Sahapara area of the municipality, Upazila Health Complex and ESDO branch office in Old Bus Stand area.

Nandan Kumar Saha and his brother Subrata Kumar Saha, proprietor of Saha Husking Mill, said that two people named Aminur and Labu stay at Pahara every night. They left when other employees arrived at 6 am.

This morning, Subrata Kumar Saha came to the main entrance of Chatal (Chalkal) and after knocking for a while, Labu came and opened the door. At this time blood stains are seen on his body. When he went to the office a little further, he found the door of the office open and Aminur also in a bloody state. Seeing this situation, they were quickly informed at home. After going to the office, almirah and chest were found broken. Although they confirmed that there was no large sum of money.

The miscreants disconnected the CCTV cameras at several places in Chatal. Initially, it is believed that they entered at the top of the west-south wall.

Meanwhile, on the same night, the upazila health complex broke through the west side window of the administrative unit of the building and entered inside. There, by breaking the lock of the accountant and computer operator's room, two almiras and a cabinet were broken and Tk. 25,000 was looted. Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Hasinur Rahman confirmed this. Meanwhile, as the night watchman of the health complex was absent last night, the poor are believed to have taken advantage of that opportunity.

On the same night, the window of the branch office of ESD in the old bus stand area was broken and the lock of the almirah was broken. However, branch manager Kamlesh Roy confirmed that there was no money there.

Meanwhile, on receiving the news, the police and army personnel of Debiganj police station visited the spot. Debiganj Police Station OC Soel Rana said, Saha Hasking Mill's CCTV camera DVR has been taken into custody. We are working to arrest the culprits.
