The Teacher's Plight
Md Abdul Alim
In books they say teaching is great
But truth lies in another state,
Their wages can't support their life
Each month a struggle full of strife.
For health they get just five hundred
A thousand for rent that's the budget,
In classrooms they face harsh disdain
Lower grades under constant strain.
Within schools cliques and factions grow
False teachers who lie put on a show,
Some are aggressive cruel and mean
Conspiracies often unseen.
Many skip classes stay away
Their lessons lost in disarray,
Some preach their views and push them hard
Private tutees they do regard.
On this Teachers' Day I declare
Let’s end their troubles and despair,
May justice prevail in every school
And let fairness become the rule.
