The first Jummah of Ramadan: The Jummah days of Ramadan are more special and glorious
Dr. Muhammad Mahtab Hossain Mazed
The holy month of Ramadan is the month of self-purification. Today Friday (March 15) is the 4th day of mercy. 1st Jumma Mubarak of Ramadan 1445 Hijri. By now, 3 days of Ramadan have passed between us. Ramadan Mubarak is blessed with the infinite mercy, forgiveness and salvation of Almighty Allah. The month of Ramadan is the season of worship and good deeds for the purpose of receiving unlimited rewards. Among them, the Jumma days of Ramadan are more special and glorious. It has already been said that the day of Jumma is the day of Hajj for the poor, a day of holiness and virtue.
Today, more than any other day of Ramadan, worshipers are full of religious fervor and passion to offer Friday prayers in all mosques. Today, on the 4th day of the holy month of Ramadan, after the Friday prayer, a special prayer will be offered in the court of the Great Rabbul Alamin for the welfare of the country and the nation and the peace of the world Muslim Ummah.
To explain the virtues and importance of Ramadan, the Almighty God announced in the 85th verse of Surah Baqarah of the Holy Qur'an that 'Ramadan is the month in which I have revealed the Qur'an'. This month is called the month of blessing-mercy-forgiveness. In this month there is a blessed night like Shaba al-Qadr, which is another important matter for the Ummah of Mohammadi and which was not the fate of any other Prophet's UmmahAllah Himself declares about the virtues of Shaba Qadr as 'Lailatul Qadri Khairumm Meen Alfi Shahreen' i.e. one night of Shaba Qadr is better than a thousand months. An important virtue of Ramadan is that it is obligatory to fast all the months.
In every fast, Almighty Allah forgives many people and frees them from hell and enrolls them in paradise. Therefore, this month is called the month of blessing-mercy-forgiveness. In this month the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained.
And these actions take place every night of Ramadan and continue until the end of Ramadan. It is proved from this hadith that Paradise and Hell are two things created by Allah, the doors of which are literally opened or closed. Virtues of Friday in Ramadan: The holy month of Ramadan is a month of endless virtues. Tarabi, Tahajjud, Sunnah and Nafal prayers are very important in the month of Ramadan. And Jumaba is an important day for Muslims in the month of Ramadan. In the eyes of Islam, the day is very blessed and significant. Allah has given this day superiority over other days. Since it is the Friday of the Holy Ramadan, its virtues are many times more.
Many virtues of Friday have been described in the Holy Qur'an and Hadith. Allah Ta'ala has given importance to this day in the Qur'an, "O believers! When the call to prayer is given on the day of Jumu'ah, hurry to worship Allah and stop trading. It is better for you if you understand.'' After taking a bath like a bath and arriving for the prayer, it is as if he sacrificed a camel.
A person who reaches the second stage is as if he sacrificed a cow. A person who reaches the third stage, as if he sacrificed a dumba with a horn. One who reaches the fourth stage is as if he sacrificed a chicken. He who has reached the fifth stage, has sacrificed an egg. Later, when the imam goes out to deliver the khutba, the angels appear to listen to the dhikr. The importance of Friday is unlimited in Islamic law. The day is named Juma because the various parts of the body of Hazrat Adam (A.S.), the first father of mankind, were joined or deposited on this day.
Allah Ta'ala has enriched the day of Jumu'ah with unlimited blessings. It's the best day of the week. According to Hadith Sharif, this blessed day was specially bestowed by Allah Ta'ala to Ummah Muhammad (PBUH).
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, the best and most blessed day is Friday. On this holy day, Hazrat Adam (A.S.)was created and on this day he was admitted to Paradise. (Muslim Sharif) Also, in Hadith Sharif, Friday has been declared as the weekly Eid day. It has been said that Friday is the day of your mutual meeting and weekly Eid.
Therefore, it is not appropriate to fix this day for fasting. The night before Friday is also very important. It is said in Hadith Sharif that all the deeds of Bani Adam are presented in the court of Almighty Allah on the night before Friday. (Bukhari, Ahmad) So Considering the importance and significance of Friday, every Muslim should make use of it. On this day, we should worship Allah Almighty and pray for the welfare and prosperity of ourselves and the entire humanity. And grant us the Tawfiq to act accordingly, Ameen.
