Tarail Upazila Parishad election : Two chairman candidates fighting

Tarail Upazila Parishad of Kishoreganj consists of 104 villages and 7 unions. Total voters in this upazila are 1 lakh 46 thousand 977 people.
The current chairman Zahirul Islam Bhuiyan Shaheen has been serving the common people for a long time. Apart from this, he has been able to create a foundation at the grass root level as the joint general secretary of Jatiya Party's Kishoreganj district branch for 5 years. His father late Kamal Uddin Bhuiyan Kanchan is the former Chairman of the Upazila Parishad and has a family name and reputation with the people of the entire Upazila.
On the other hand, General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Tarail Upazila Branch, Muhammad Gias Uddin Lucky, has done extensive work at the grass root level by performing organizational duties for 35 years.
On the one hand there is organizational power, on the other there is family reputation and prestige. He is the privileged son of late Golam Hossain (Mahajan) and has family influence across the upazila. One of their hereditary traits is to give maximum help in social service. He built numerous mosques, madrasas, cemeteries on his own land as a family initiative. Among these institutions, Haji Golam Hossain High School, Sawtul Hera Hafizia Madrasa are notable. Also providing assistance to poor helpless and needy people throughout the year.
Above all, in Tarail upazila, it is assumed that there will be a close fight between these two candidates, Gias Uddin Lucky and Joahirul Islam Bhuiyan Sahin.
