Masudul Hasan Masud, Bhuiyapur (Tangail)

The final match of the 14th edition of the Sudhijan Football Tournament was held in Bhuiyapur, Tangail, organized by the students and youth society of the traditional village of Bharai.

The match was held on Sunday (February 23) afternoon at the Bharai Dimukhi High School ground in the upazila.

Under the chairmanship of Advocate Golam Mostafa, a child of Bharai village and president of the upazila BNP, and under the management of the school's headmaster Kamrul Islam Talukder Selim, the game was played between the Matikata Football XI of the upazila and the Sakhariya Student Club of Gopalpur upazila. The final match was inaugurated on the beautiful ground by Professor Kamruzzaman, Principal of Ibrahim Khan Government College.

The organizers have to work tirelessly from the beginning to the end to organize the tournament for the students and youth of Bharai village. Along with this, with the tireless work and cooperation of Kamrul Islam Talukder Selim, the headmaster of Bharai Dimukhi High School, they prepare the field for this game as well as do some decoration. As always, they were supported overall by Shafiqul Islam Hasan, the current panel chairman of Aloya Union, and Tarek Mahmud Kabir, the general secretary of the tournament.

In this beautiful field, in the presence of approximately ten thousand spectators, two of the 18 players from both teams, a total of 4 foreign (Nigerian) players participated in the game. Alamin Sarkar served as the commentator for this game.

UNO Mosha. Popi Khatun was present as the chief guest. Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Tariqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Bhuiyapur Police Station AKM Rezaul Karim were present as special guests. At the end of the game, the winner presented a 100cc motorcycle to the Sakhariya Student Club and the runner-up, Matikata Football XI, with a refrigerator.
