Accused in 17 cases arrested with foreign pistols in Lohagara

Lohagara Police arrested Babul Sheikh alias Dhala Babul (42) and his younger brother Bipul Sheikh (35), accused in 17 cases, with a foreign pistol from Mangalhata village of Mallikpur UP in Lohagara upazila of Narail.
They are the sons of the deceased Delwar Sheikh of Mangalhata village of the upazila. The two brothers were arrested with weapons from Kundasi village of the upazila at around 2 am on Sunday.
Police said, on receiving information ar around 2 am on Sunday, Lohagara Police Station Sub-Inspectors Suman Hawlader and Mamun, Assistant Sub-Inspectors Ilias and othet forces conducted a raid in the Kudasi area of the upazila and arrested Dhala Balul and his brother Bipul along with weapons.
During this time, the police seized a 9 mm foreign pistol, a magazine and 6 rounds of bullets from them.
SI of Lohagara Police Station Suman Hawlader said at around 10:30 am on Monday that Dhola Babul has a total of 17 cases, including 14 drug cases.
