BNP Joint Secretary General and MP for Narsingdi-1 Sadar constituency Khairul Kabir Khokon said, "We must keep a close watch on the upcoming autumn Durga Puja so that the members of the fascist Awami League do not create any kind of immoral activities or chaos. Durga Puja is the biggest festival of the Hindu community. BNP leaders and activists at all levels must be vigilant so that this festival can be celebrated with due dignity, joy and in a peaceful environment. We must take care that the evil forces of the Awami League, which imposed fascism on the people of the country in the past, do not cause any kind of unpleasant or immoral incidents.
He said these at a preparatory meeting organized by Narsingdi District BNP at the district BNP office on Wednesday afternoon to celebrate the autumn Durga Puja with due dignity.
Present at the preparatory meeting, moderated by Narsingdi District BNP General Secretary and Narsingdi-3 Shibpur constituency MP Manjur Elahi, were District BNP President Tofazzal Hossain Master, VP Jalil, Harun Or Rashid, Rabiul Islam Robi, Faruk Uddin Bhuiyan, Joint General Secretary Mohsin Hossain Bidyut, District Student Party President Siddiqur Rahman Nahid, among others.
