"Skills and Innovation Competition 2025" was held at Goalanda Government Technical School and College in Rajbari.
The theme of this year's competition was "If you take technical education, you can work both at home and abroad." The only goal is to be skilled. The competition, which was held on Saturday at 11 am on the college campus, was organized by the Asset Project. During this time, students' innovations were displayed at 10 stalls on the campus.
Goalando UNO Md. Nahidur Rahman was the chief guest at the event. College Principal Sultana Meheruna Zaman presided over the event.
Communication Consultant, Asset Project Md. Zillur Rahman, AGM of RFL Plastics Limited Md. Abu Zahid, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Jayanta Kumar Das, along with other teachers, guardians, students of the school, etc. were present as special guests.
The main theme of the competition is that technical students participate in showcasing their innovative projects, new discoveries and technical skills. The competition showcases students' creativity, research and new ideas under the Asset Project.
The innovative thinking and technological exhibition was open to all, generating great interest from visitors and guests.
Speakers at the event said that it is possible to transform the country's youth into skilled manpower through technical education. Skill development and innovative initiatives will advance the country's industrial and technology sectors and make the young generation competitive in the global labor market.
