Professor Rezaul Karim, the Amir of Gopalganj District Jamaat and the party’s candidate for Gopalganj-3 (Kotalipara-Tungipara) Constituency, has stood beside a family affected by a fire incident.
On Saturday noon, Prof. Rezaul Karim visited the house of day laborer Asad Kazi at Kafulabari village in Ramshil Union of Kotalipara upazila, which was severely damaged by fire. During the visit, he provided personal financial assistance to the family.
He said, “After hearing about the helpless condition of Ali Kazi’s family, I rushed here. Out of humanitarian responsibility, I stood by the affected family. Jamaat will extend support to them. It is our moral duty to stand beside the people in times of disaster. Such initiatives will continue.”
Gopalganj Sadar Upazila Jamaat Amir Titas Ahmed, Kotalipara Upazila Amir Solaiman Biswas, and other local leaders and activists were also present.
The fire broke out at noon on Thursday in the tin-shed house of Asad Kazi due to an electrical short circuit. Within moments, the blaze spread and burned down all furniture, clothing, and food items, leaving the family destitute.
