Sherpur DC Farida Yasmin inspects district jail

Sherpur Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Farida Yasmin inspected the Sherpur District Jail.
Accompanied by Additional District Magistrate Sanchita Biswas, the Deputy Commissioner visited the district jail on Monday noon.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner toured the facilities firsthand, reviewing overall management, prisoner accommodations, food services, and medical care. She also exchanged views with relevant officials regarding the prison's environment, security arrangements, and inmate facilities.
Emphasizing the maintenance of discipline and security alongside ensuring humanitarian and essential services for inmates, the Deputy Commissioner provided necessary directives to officials to further improve overall prison management.
