Seeds, fertilizers distributed among farmers in Baliadangi

Free seeds and fertilizers of Aus and Mng beans were distributed among small and marginal farmers in Baliadangi under the agricultural incentive program.
These seeds and fertilizers were distributed to increase production in the 2024-25 financial year.
The seed distribution program was officially inaugurated on Monday at 11.30 am on the premises of the Upazila Parishad office.
Upazila Executive Officer Mr. Palash Kumar Debnath inaugurated the rice, mung beans seeds and fertilizers distribution program to the farmers.
Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Palash Kumar Debnath and Upazila Agriculture Officer Sajjad Hossain, Agricultural Extension Officer Gulzar Hussain and deputy assistant officers of various unions were present.
According to the Agriculture Department sources, free seeds and fertilizers were distributed to 2,150 small and marginal farmers of 8 unions of the upazila.
