Scout Office Inaugurated in Baraigram

A new Scout office has been officially inaugurated in Baraigram, Natore. The inauguration ceremony took place on Friday afternoon at the premises of the Upazila Parishad.
Laila Jannatul Ferdous the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and President of the Upazila Scout Committee inaugurated the office.
The event was conducted by the Upazila Scout Secretary, Md. Humayun Kabir. In her address,the chief guest highlighted the importance of the Scout movement, its goals, socialresponsibilities, and the promotion of health awareness among young people.Among others, who spoke at the event were Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Vice President of the Upazila Scouts, Md. Ashraful Islam; Acting Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Selim Akter; Regional Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi Scouts Md. Kaharul Islam Joy; Natore District Secretary Md. Golam Mohiuddin (ALT); Course Leader Md. Mazed Ali Mridha (Wood Badge Holder); Upazila Cub Leader Md. Ruhul Amin; Joint Secretary Md. Mosharraf Hossain; Associate Commissioners Mr. Selim Hossain and Sharmin Sultana Priya; and Head Teacher Md. Kamal Hossain.
A total of 70 scouts and girl-in-scouts from 10 secondary schools in the Upazila participated in the event through a hiking activity.
