Restore people's rights, or do BNP politics' : MP Enamul

A protest march and rally were held in Patnitala, Naogaon, demanding immediate justice for those involved in the October 28, 2006 murder. The rally was held at the Najipur bus stand intersection at the Upazila Sadar on Wednesday.
Speaking as the chief guest at the rally, Engineer Md. Enamul Haque, MP for Naogaon-2 (Patnitala-Dhamirhat) constituency, lamented, "He accused party affiliation in the appointment of food-friendly program dealers, distribution of family cards, and most recently in the appointment of fertilizer dealers."
Addressing the administration, he said, "We have seen in the last six months that everything from food-friendly dealers to family cards to the latest fertilizer dealer appointments has been completely partisanized. It seems that everyone in the administration is now a BNP leader."
Warning the administration, MP Enamul Haque said, "If the people's rights are not returned to the people, then you will leave the administration chair and do politics directly with the BNP. Still, the people will know that you are doing BNP."
The rally was presided over by the Ameer of Patnitala Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Maulana Abdul Mukim. Present at the event were former Vice Chairman of the District Jamaat Working Committee, Assistant Professor Maulana Habibur Rahman, Secretary of Patnitala Upazila Jamaat Maulana Harun-ur-Rashid, Co-Secretary and former Shibir leader Advocate Akhter Faruk, Ameer of Nazipur Municipality Jamaat Mofachhel Haque, Jamaat-nominated Nazipur Municipality Mayoral candidate Maruf Mostafa, President of Patnitala Upazila Youth and Activities Department, Joint Secretary of Upazila Jamaat Muhammad Sohel Rana and leaders and activists of various levels of the party.
