The Railway Land Management Policy states that the purpose of leasing the land cannot be used for any purpose other than the purpose. However, there is no evidence that any licens have been canceled for this crime.

On the ground, it was found that many of the railway land had occupied most of the railway station at Kumira Railway Station. Over the years, the government is losing huge amounts of revenue as these railway land has been seized. At the same time, hundreds of illegal structures were constructed on both sides of the railway line.

Railway authorities did not conduct the evacuation program at various times to eradicate illegal establishments. Due to this, the occupation of the railway land is increasing day by day, locals said.
