
Reconstruction of DC Para-Madhya Rasta Jame Mosque begins in Pirojpur

The reconstruction work of the DC Para–Madhya Rasta Jame Mosque in Pirojpur has started.
After the Jummah prayers, Pirojpur Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ashraful Alam Khan inaugurated the project by unveiling the foundation plaque as the chief guest on Friday
After the unveiling, a special prayer (munajat) was conducted by the mosque’s Imam, Hafez Din Islam.
Among others present at the ceremony were: former headmaster of Government Boys' High School Md. Mahbubur Rahman; Mosque Committee President Mahbubur Rahman; Vice President Md. Mosharraf Hossain; General Secretary Abdullah Mithu; Professor of Botany at Aftab Uddin College, Manzurul Islam Kislu; Senior Teacher of Pirojpur Government High School Kazi Monirul Islam; Bachchu Sardar; Raju Ahmed; Delowar Hossain Monu; politician Akhtaruzzaman Sheikh Rahat; Hasan Abdullah; Nahid Sheikh; and the mosque's muezzin Hafez Abdul Qaiyum.
Mosque committee members Master Nazrul Islam, Abdus Sattar, Zakir Hossain Labu, Md. Mizanur Rahman, Md. Elias Talukder, and Masum Billah, among others were present.
