Rangpur 11 Party Alliance organizes protest march against rising of prices of essentials

Rangpur Bureau

The 11-Party Unity Alliance Rangpur Metropolitan branch organized a protest march on Thursday and submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister to protest the rising prices of daily necessities.

Earlier, a large protest march of the 11-Party Unity Alliance came out from the District Model Mosque and circled the main roads of the city.

Later, the 11-Party Unity Alliance Rangpur Metropolitan branch submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister to protest the rising prices of daily necessities, the increase in gas prices, and the unbridled increase in prices of goods, including the ghostly electricity bills.

At this time, the convener of the 11-party Alliance Rangpur Metropolitan branch and Jamaat-e-Islami Central Working Committee member and Rangpur Metropolitan Ameer Vice-Principal Maulana ATM Azam Khan, NCP District Convener Al Mamun, Jamaat-e-Islami Rangpur Metropolitan Metropolitan Secretary KM Anwarul Haque Kajal, Assistant Secretary Al Amin Hasan, Shramik kollayan Federation Metropolitan President Advocate Kawsar Ali, along with Jamaat-e-Islami and NCP leaders were present.

The alliance leaders complained that public consumption has increased due to the rising prices of goods, and the government or administration is involved in this matter. Despite the ban, prepaid meter connections are being provided in various houses despite the objections of the customers. A larger movement will be organized in the future in protest against this.
