
Rally on Women's Torture Prevention Day in Gaibandha

A rally was held in front of the city's DB Road Ganasas Market on Tuesday morning at the initiative of the Bangladesh Women's Movement Gaibandha District Branch on the occasion of Women's Torture Prevention Day (Yasmin murder Day). At the end of the rally, a rally came out and circled the city's main road.
Professor Rokeya Khatun presided over the rally. Farida Yasmin Nachi, writer and organizer Nasrin Sultana Rekha, lecturer Halima Khatun, Parul Begum, Rudranil, the organizer of the revolutionary student movement.
The speakers said that Yasmin, a teenage girl from Dinajpur on August 26, came from Dhaka to the night coach and went to Dasmile at dawn. From there, some policemen picked him up in the police van, saying they would safely reach the house. He lifted Yasmin in the van and raped a few and killed the body and left the body on the street. In protest, the conscientious people of the country, including Dinajpur, rise. Police-bidia and killed 5 people in the protest movement indiscriminately.
The movement was under pressure and the criminals were hanged in the trial. 3 years have passed, but women torture has not stopped. The important role in the mass uprising of 20 was not gaining any benefit. The capitalist economy and its close associate fundamentalist-communal forces presented as consumer goods are increasing day by day.
The leaders urged all the people, irrespective of the country, to create intense agitation against the capitalist society and the community of community, along with the anti-women oppression movement
