Railway earns wide reputation for providing services to passengers during Eid journey

 During this fourteen-day Eid journey, the Bangladesh Railway authorities have earned a wide reputation from the passengers for delivering passengers to their destinations
on time, stopping ticket black marketing and stopping passenger travel on the roof.
 
 Despite having limited manpower and resources, it has broken all the records of past Eid journeys. Passengers have faced some problems in the past Eid journeys, including ticket black marketing.and schedule disruptions, and have had to suffer with their families. But this time, it has been possible to achieve this reputation due to the strict decision taken by the Ministry of Railways  
 and the round-the-clock monitoring by the current Director General Afzal Hossain and  the sincere cooperation and proper performance of GM of the Western Region and the officers and employees of alll departments including Pakshi and Lalmonirhat. 
 
Not only that, to keep all types of trains accident-free, on the advice of the Chief Engineer of the Western Region Railway Asadul Haque and on the instructions of GM
Alhaj Mamunul Islam, in cooperation with the office of the Railway Pakshi Divisional Engineer II, a patrolling duty has been carried out every night by railway officers, RNB officers and police members with motor trolleys to stop the theft of railway fittings on various routes including the Ishwardi-Azim Nagar route.
 
 This Eid, a total of 137 passenger trains including an Eid special, 64 inter-city and 51 mail trains have run smoothly in the Western Region including the Pakshi-Lalmonirhat Division. Members of the security forces regularly announce warnings on the microphone to increase passenger awareness.
 
 In addition, all kinds of officers and staff of every department of the railway have also
performed their duties properly, making it possible for the railway authorities to achieve this success.
 
 The passengers returning home for Eid demand that the railway authorities work more consciously and responsibly in the future so that the passengers can return home and work

This ability, due to the extensive planning and
coordination of the railway authorities, it has achieved success by serving passengers comparatively even with limited manpower and resources. For this success, it has been possible to achieve this success due to the
instructions of the Railway Secretary and Director General and the tireless work of the officers and employees of all departments including Pakshi and with the cooperation of the passengers. The railway authorities
are working to provide better quality passenger services in the future.
