Primary curriculum to integrate 12 monthly life-skills themes: Bobby Hajjaj

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj announced that 12 life-skills and safety themes will be integrated into the primary education curriculum across 12 months to enhance students' practical knowledge and personal security.
Speaking as the chief guest at the "Safeguarding Leadership Summit" organized jointly by Haileybury Bhaluka and Cambridge at Le Méridien Dhaka on Wednesday, the State Minister stated that the government aims to equip primary school students with essential real-life skills alongside traditional academic learning.
He emphasized that under the vision of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the ministry is working to establish a primary education framework where every child learns effectively in a safe environment. Under the ongoing curriculum reform, each month will focus on a specific theme, such as fire safety, road safety, water safety, health and hygiene, or disaster management.
