The date molasses traders and farmer are taken preparation for extraction date juice in Rajshahi.

The winter secession is very near because of taken preparation extraction for date juice.

Supposes to know the winter session will be starting within one month. There is possibility sale of data molasses worth of 96 corers 14 lack and 20 thousand taka this session. According to Rajshahi Agriculture Department a total number of 12 lack 1775 data tress have in 593.47 hector land area district of Rajshahi said Deputy Director (DD) Mozdar Hossin.

The winter cake is traditional relishing food for bangali peoples. It’s for very essential the data molasses. Gradually, the molasses is made by date juice and the juice is collected from data tree. However, the data juice is delicious drink. The data tree is growing up naturally here and there of district in Bangladesh. The farmer did not cultivation the data trees. Bangladesh agriculture have no any funding for the data trees. The tree is being disappear day by day from all over district in Bangladesh include Rajshahi.

Few years ago the winter session did not feeling as it is. Globally very much hampering the naturel calamities. There for this country also suffering calamities issues. Basically, Bangladesh is the country of six session. But, weather permeating is not good on going due to the summer, rainy and winter session. The winter is the best session out of six session. There are many dream with winter as data juice, molasses and cake. It’s for demand data juice. Without data juice cannot make anything and do not celebrating the guest in winter.

In this regard to learn that, the farmer do not agree to produce the data molasses with use to data juice. The agriculture department disappointed the data produced. They do not help them by funding. Not only this the farmer cutting the data trees. Once a time did not alive a single tree around in district. The farmer able to cultivation the data tree if the concern department help them with their demand. In this connection the farmer has demand as proper advice, proses of seeds and financial help. Otherwise, this tradition food will be vanished.

The date trees commercially has available in Bagmara, Durgapur, Puthia, Bagha and Charghat Upazila. However, Bagha and Charghat is the best area for data trees out of those. A total 4500 tress have in 30 hector land area under Charghat Upazila. According to that will be possibility 157.5 metric ton data molasses said agriculture officer Lutfun Nahar. Puthia Upazila agriculture officer Samsun Nahar Bhuyan told the newspaer, a total number of 7 lack and 20 thousand tree have in 285 hector land area.

The molasses target are 2000 metric ton. Bagha Upazila agriculture officer Shofiullah Sultan, Durgapur UAO Razia Sultana and Bagmara UAO Abdul Razzak said the agriculture office to be continues suggest to the farmer who are involved in molasses.
