Like the rest of the world, pre-Christmas religious prayers and festivities were held in Rangamati Christmas tree was decorated with lights, religious prayers, Bible readings, and several other mesmerizing programs were organized and performed.

On Friday , the Rangamati Christian Inter-Church Christmas Celebration Committee organized this pre-Christmas celebration at the auditorium of Shah Bahumukhi High School adjacent to the Tabalchhari slum.

At the beginning of the program, a rally started at 9:00 am and circled the various streets of Tabalchhari before ending at Shah Bahumukhi High School.

The program was presided over by the convener of the committee, Rev. Dirba Dhan Chakma: - The program was welcomed by the Rangamati Christian Inter-Church Christmas Celebration Council member, and the convener of the finance committee, and the director of Chandraghona Christian Hospital, Dr. Prabir Khyang. Gabriel Pankhwa, and Sister Deepa Cruz. And Sister Kakoli Rosario, presented by the Bangladesh Baptist Church, Regional President: Biplob Marma. Executive Editor of Ruposhi Kaptai, Kazi Mosharraf Hossain. Program manager of CHCP program, Bijoy Marma. General secretary of Bangladesh Human Rights Foundation Rangamati district, Alok Barua. Jamal Bashir and other Catholic heads, officials, employees of various government organizations, and media workers. Dr. Pastor Stephen J. Mitra offered the opening prayer. Pastor Jyotimay Chakma, member secretary of the Rangamati Christian Inter-Church Christmas Celebration Council, offered the prayer during the cake cutting.

Pastor Joy Moni Chakma, convener of the Publicity and Publication Committee and General Secretary of Rangamati Baptist Church Fellowship and Bangladesh Christian Association, delivered the closing speech. Rangamati Catholic Church Pastor Father Michael Roy, priest, delivered the prayer of the Lord Jesus. And in the special prayer gathering on Christmas, the birthday of the Lord Jesus will bring the message of peace to the mountains. All violence and conflict will be mixed in this festival.

Everyone prays that the birthday of the Lord Jesus will bring the message of peace to the mountains along with the development and prosperity of the country and the peaceful situation in the mountains so that all people can live in health and peace. The pre-Christmas cake was cut at the discussion meeting and a pleasant cultural program was presented by various artists.

In addition, on the occasion of Merry Christmas on December 25, Christmas will be celebrated in a festive atmosphere in various areas of Rangamati city, including Tabalchhari, Asambasti, and Kaptai Upazilas.
