Police-public view exchange meeting was held at 7th Armed Police Battalion, Sylhet on Sunday afternoon. DIG SPBN Md. Ali Hossain Fakir attended the meeting as a chief guest.

He said , good police-public relations must be developed to build a beautiful society and country. Proper implementation of the law must be ensured to establish justice and good governance. This will reduce the number of crimes and develop a disciplined social system. Forgetting the long-standing rule, exploitation and deprivation, the police and all the society must work together to build a prosperous Bangladesh of the future.

The meeting was chaired by the Commander (Additional DIG) of 7 Armed Police Battalion Sylhet, ARM Alif. Sylhet Range DIG Md. Mushfequr Rahman, Sylhet Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md. Rezaul Karim PPM Sheba, and Editor DIG Gias Uddin addressed the gathering as special guests.

After the discussion, the chief guest DIG SPBN Md. Ali Hossain Fakir planted a tree in the 7th APBN premises.

Week-long sports, cultural festival inaugurated at South Surma Govt College

The week-long sports and cultural festival of South Surma Government College has been inaugurated. Chief guest and Principal of South Surma Government College Iftekhar Alam inaugurated the sports and cultural festival by releasing balloons at 1 pm on Sunday.

In his speech as the chief guest, he said that playing sports along with reading and writing keeps the body and mind fresh. Therefore, a week-long sports and cultural festival has been organized with the students of Dakshin Surma College. This festival will achieve success with the participation of everyone.
