PM to inaugurate six newly built halls at JU

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate six-newly built residential halls and a research center of Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Tuesday.
JU Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Nurul Alam informed the matter at around 2pm in a press conference held at the council room of the new administrative building.
JU VC said, “The Prime Minister will inaugurate six residential halls and the Wazed Miah Science Research Center through video conferencing at 10:00 am on November 14.”
“The appointment of officers and employees for the hall is underway and the recruitment work is expected to be completed quickly after the inauguration. The remaining four new halls are expected to open for students by early December,” he added.
JU VC alao articulated that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was allocated Tk 1450 crore to JU as a part of further development projects to eliminate the accommodation crisis.
