On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, Bauphal Upazila Branch, Patuakhali, organized a tree plantation program on Saturday.
Over a thousand trees were planted at various locations, including Kachipara Abdur Rashid Chunnu Mia Degree College, Kachipara Secondary School, Primary School, Jame Mosque, and a temple.
Present at the event were BNP Central Co-Office Secretary Md. Monir Hossain, his wife Rita Akter, Upazila BNP Member Secretary Apel Mahmud Firoz, Swechchhasebak Dal Convener Khalilur Rahman, former Joint Convener of Chhatra Dal and student leader arrested during the July movement Munimul Islam Miraj, Vice-President of Chhatra Dal at Kabi Nazrul University Mehedi Hasan, General Secretary of Baufal Government College Chhatra Dal Istiaq Rasul Soyeb, former President Apel Mahmud Munna, former Joint Secretary Neyamul Islam, along with Chhatra Dal leaders from various unions.
