
PhD seminar on Racial Conflict in India Exposed thru' Satire at IU

A PhD seminar titled “Racial Conflict in India Exposed through Satire: An Exploration of Aravind Adiga's Major Novels.” was held at Islamic University (IU), Kushtia on 05 March, 2024 (Sunday).
IU English Department organized the seminar at Rabindra Nazrul Academic Building at around 11:30 AM.
Prof. Dr. Amtaj Hossain, Dean of Faculty of Arts was present at the seminar as the chief guest while Prof. D. Miah Md. Rashiduzzaman, chairman of the department of English, presided over the session.Besides, the other PhD holders and scholarly teachers joined the program spontaneously.
PhD fellow Mr. Md. Chand Ali (Reg. No. 40, Session: 2016-17), Assistant Professor of English at Uttara University in Dhaka, presented his 2nd seminar paper on "Uncovering Racial Tensions in India through Satire: A study of Aravind Adiga’s Selected Novels", under the supervision of Prof. D. Miah Md. Rashiduzzaman, Chairman, Dept of English.
