People should come forward to protect 2nd independence of country: Mia Golam Parwar

Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Prof. Mia Golam Parwar said that the people of the country should forget all differences and come forward unitedly to protect this second independence gained by the blood of thousands of students.
He said this in his speech as the chief guest at the meeting with the family members of the martyrs in the anti-discrimination student mass movement organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Rangpur Metropolitan and District Branch on Sunday morning at the hall room in a restaurant of Rangpur. Meanwhile, Jamaat-e-Islami gave a total of Taka 2 lakh to the family members of 16 people who were martyred in the anti-discrimination student movement. Fathers, mothers, wives, children and brothers and sisters of the martyrs were present in the ceremony.
Mia Golam Parwar said, “There is a conspiracy to create anarchy and unstable situation in the country. Everyone should be aware of this. Referring to providing necessary time and cooperation to the interim government for the reconstruction and reform of the country, the Jamaat leader said that the miscreants of autocracy are still lurking in the machinery of the state. The blood of thousands of martyrs including martyr Abu Saeed cannot be allowed to go in vain. We have to learn from their sacrifice to build the country.” He also said that in the last 16 years Awami League will be prosecuted in the international crime tribunal.
Earlier, he was present as the chief guest at the ‘Mahanagar Rukon Conference’ at the same place. At that time, he said, “The claim of the oath given to Allah is that we have bought paradise in exchange for life and property. Our lives and wealth, including our wives and children, are entrusted to Allah. Our only purpose is to live according to the demands of Allah’s word.” Jamaat leaders also said that Jamaat-e-Islami has always been on the side of the poor people and will continue to be inshallah.
