The 53rd founding anniversary of Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) and the People's Engineering Day-2023 were celebrated in the country.

In Kishoreganj, IDEB. arranges a colour full rally, discussion, gangi-cap distribution and cultural function marking the its 53 rd Founding anniversary.

This year's theme of the day is ' Innovation & Entrepreneurship for Development. Zila Parishad chairman and ruling Awami League district president advocate Zillur Rahman and Mayor Pervez Miah attended as chief and special guest, while IDEB in Kishoreganj president and Sadar upazila engineer Md. Mozammel Haque in the chair.

A discussion meeting was held at local Art Council Auditorium in the town on Wednesday.

It was addressed among others by Kishoreganj Technical Training Centre (TTC) Principle Zabed Rahim, IDEB district General Secretary Farooq Ahammed and Md.Anis.

Zila Parishad Chairman Advocate Zillur Rahman said under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the government is taking and implementing multifaceted plans to build a developed and prosperous Smart Bangladesh by 2041.

He said that there is no alternative to developing the innovative power of the nation side by side developing the working population as entrepreneurs in implementing this huge work plan of the government.

Mayor Pervez Miah said the youths should be trained in business principles and procedures to become entrepreneurs.

IDEB Kishoreganj president Mozammel Haque said the effective role of all public and private stakeholders should be ensured in the creation of innovation and entrepreneurship friendly environment in the country, development of employment sectors and formation of necessary public opinion.

Later, a colour full brings out in the town on Wednesday noon led by Zila Parishad chairman Advocate Zillur Rahman, Mayor Pervez Miah and upazila engineer Mozammel Haque.
