Misleading people who want to harm country must be resisted: MP Dr. Abdus Salam

"A group is trying to mislead the country and harm it. We will all unite to protest and resist their conspiracy so that they cannot harm the country."
Dr. Md. Abdus Salam, newly elected MP from Thakurgaon-2 constituency, made these remarks as the chief guest at a program organized by the Haripur Upazila Administration of Thakurgaon on Friday at 4 pm.
At this event organized at the Haripur Upazila Parishad Auditorium, sports equipment, first aid supplies, school bags and various government incentives were distributed to various educational institutions in the upazila.
Government's commitment to education and development
In his speech, MP Salam mentioned the country's development progress and said, the country's most popular Prime Minister is going to every corner of the country and working for overall development. Education for girls has been made free.
He announced that in future, besides ensuring sports facilities in all educational institutions of Haripur upazila, 'mid-day meal' will be introduced.
Chaired by Haripur UNO Chandan Kar, the wife of MP i Prof Dr. Hasina Afroz was special guest. Haripur Upazila BNP President Jamal Uddin and General Secretary Abu Taher. retired Colonel Jahangir Alam.
Local teachers, journalists, students, guardians, civil society representatives, and local top leaders of BNP were also present at the event.
At the end of the program, the chief guest Dr. Abdus Salam distributed bicycles among students, corrugated tins and cash among underprivileged and poor families, and sewing machines.
