Operation Devil Hunt : Two accomplices of forest bandits arrested, weapons recovered in Shyamnagar

Two forest bandits have been arrested in Shyamnagar, Satkhira in Operation Devil Hunt on Sunday.
Based on the information provided by them, a joint force consisting of Coast Guard, Police and Navy recovered a single pipe gun and 16 indigenous weapons on Sunday at around 11:00 p.m. They were arrested from Chakbara Bazar area of Gabura Union of the upazila.
Arestees ars Abdul Hakim Ghazi (68) and his son Hafizur Rahman Ghazi (25) of Chakbara village.
Based on the information received from the preliminary interrogation of the detained persons, an illegal country-made single-barreled pipe gun and 16 country-made weapons were recovered in their wooden boat in the river adjacent to Chakbara Bazar.
They confessed to the joint forces that they cooperated with dacoits in Sundarbans.
