Strict action will be taken if any attempt made to create chaos at puja mandaps : Satkhira SP

Satkhira Police Superintendent Mohammad Monirul Islam held a meeting with journalists on the occasion of the upcoming Autumn Durga Puja. The meeting was organized by the district police with journalists from print and electronic media on Tuesday morning at the conference room of the Police Superintendent's office.
Satkhira District Police Superintendent Mohammad Monirul Islam presided over the meeting. In his speech as the president, the Superintendent of Police said that journalists are the mirror of society. He expressed his firm determination to maintain overall law and order in the district, reduce traffic congestion, prevent militancy and extortion, drugs, robbery, theft, robbery and cyber bullying, increase social awareness and gain trust and reach the doorsteps of the people by providing police services. He said that strict legal action will be taken against anyone who tries to spread misinformation, spread rumors, incite through social media, or directly create chaos at the puja mandap around the Hindu religious festival. The exchange of views said that Satkhira District Police has taken various security measures to ensure the celebration of the upcoming Sharadiya Durga Puja-2025 in a peaceful and orderly environment and Satkhira District Police is fully prepared to maintain an atmosphere of peace and harmony during Durga Puja with the cooperation of people of all communities.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Md. Mukit Hossain Khan, members of various ranks of the district police, and journalists from various print and electronic media were also present.
