One killed in Tala road mishap

A man named Abdul Salam (60) was killed when the axle of the Alamsadhu vehicle carrying cows broke and overturned in Mirzapur area of Tala upazila on Satkhira-Khulna highway. He is the son of the deceased Kismat Morol of Panchrokhi village in Tala upazila. The driver of the vehicle was seriously injured at that time.
On Sunday at around 2 pm, Abdul Salam was taking cows to Sunikhali market in the Alamsadhu vehicle. When the vehicle reached Mirzapur area of Tala upazila, the axle of the vehicle broke. Abdul Salam died on the spot. The driver of the vehicle was seriously injured. The body of the deceased was in police custody at Tala Hospital till the time of writing this report. Tala Police Station OC Sheikh Shahinur Rahman confirmed the death.
