DC distributes wheelchairs to disabled people in Pangsha

Free wheelchairs were distributed to the disabled people in Pangsha, Rajbari on Monday.
When Deputy Commissioner Sultana Akhter reached the Upazila Parishad at 11 am, she was welcomed with floral greetings by UNO S.M Abu Darda and officials of all departments.
Later, she distributed wheelchairs to 19 disabled people organized by the Pangsha Upazila Administration and Upazila Social Service Office, and distributed materials for the implementation of the Bill Nursery program under the revenue budget in the fiscal year 2024-25 implemented by the Upazila Administration and Upazila Fisheries Department.
In addition, the Pangsha Upazila Agricultural Extension Department presented onions to Deputy Commissioner Sultana Akhter. During this time, Deputy Commissioner Sultana Akhter inspected the planting of a almond sapling in front of the Upazila Agricultural Extension Office and the cultivation of ginger in sacks in uncultivated fallow land.
Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Sultana Akhter was the chief guest in all these activities, presided over by Upazila Executive Officer S.M. Abu Darda.
