Noakhali.-6 Seat : Experience in voting field, multi-faceted challenges in new leadership

.

Sabber Ebne Seddik, Hatiya ( Noakhali

Ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections, a multi-faceted political battle has gathered in Noakhali-6 (Hatiya) constituency. With the participation of experienced politicians, new faces, party candidates and independent candidates, this constituency has now become an emotional arena for choosing leadership. The question on the minds of voters is - who is the real leader of Hatia?

BNP's central organizing secretary Md. Mahbuber Rahman has entered the field as the party's candidate. His central leadership and political experience have made him one of the most influential candidates for this seat.

Engineer Tanvir Uddin Rajib is contesting as an independent candidate in this seat. He is a member of the district BNP and former general secretary of Hatia Upazila BNP, and has been active in politics for a long time. His acceptance at the field level and organizational experience have put him in a strong position.

T. M. Nayi Ullah, who is the president of the Upazila Jatiya Party, is contesting as the Jatiya Party candidate. He is a familiar face with his long experience in party politics and local level leadership.

Abdul Hannan Mausud has been nominated from the NCP. He is the party's senior joint chief coordinator. He is creating new expectations among voters with his message of youthful and change-oriented politics.

Mohammad Fazlul Azim, a three-time former member of parliament, is back in the discussion as an independent candidate. His long presence in tool politics and memories of development activities still evoke emotions in the minds of many voters.

His wife Shamima Azim is also contesting the election as an independent candidate. The fact that a husband and wife are running for the same seat has added an exceptionally emotional chapter to Hatia politics.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Shah Mohammad Mahfuzul Haque, former Dhaka University Student Union president, represents ideology-based politics.

Also on the field are:

Amirul Islam Mohammad Abdul Malek (Bangladesh Supreme Party-BSP),

Mohammad Azhar Uddin (Public Rights Council),

Nasim Uddin Md. Bayezid (National Party-JPA), Mohammad Nurul Islam Sharif (Islamic Movement Bangladesh),

Mohammad Abdul Motaleb (National Socialist Party-JSD),and independent candidate Muhammad Nurul Amin.

All in all, the election for Noakhali-6 (Hatia) constituency is not just a vote battle—it is a unique political chapter of experience vs. change, emotion vs. reality, and relationship vs. ideology. Now the final decision is up to the voters—in whose hands will they hand over the leadership of Hatia?
