No alternative to unity in preserving spirit of July : Gaibandha Zila Parishad Administrator Sadiq

Dr. Syed Moinul Hasan Sadiq, Administrator of Gaibandha Zila Parishad, said, “The greatest strength of the July Movement was national unity. Regardless of political affiliation, religion, or social background, we stood together against injustice. If we fail to preserve that unity, the achievements of July may be undermined. Therefore, for the sake of the country, we must remain united.”
He made these remarks on Wednesday while speaking as the chief discussant at a reception program for July fighters, along with the distribution of commemorative crests and tree saplings, organized at the Gaibandha Indoor Stadium on the occasion of July Mass Uprising Day.
Dr. Sadiq said , “If divisions emerge among us, anti-democratic and anti-independence forces may take advantage of the situation. Those who deprived people of their rights for a long period should not be given any opportunity for rehabilitation.
He further said, “I witnessed the mass movement of 1990 and also observed the events surrounding our Liberation War.
There is no lack of sincerity on the part of the government regarding the implementation of the July Charter, he added.
