No alternative to sports in building beautiful society free from drugs, juvenile gangs : Khairul Kabir Khokon MP

BNP Joint Secretary General and MP for Narsingdi-1 Sadar constituency Khairul Kabir Khokon said, "There is no alternative to sports to protect the young generation from social ills like drugs, terrorism, extortion, anarchy, eve-teasing and teenage gangs in the society." He also said that sports and healthy cultural practices are being given utmost importance to keep the youth and student community away from moral degradation.
He made these remarks while attending the Arafat Rahman Coco Memorial Final Football Tournament organized in Nagriyakandi area of Narsingdi on Friday.
He also said that to ensure that our youth, student community and young people do not go astray, we need to widely promote sports, literature, culture and our culture throughout the society. If we can keep the youth busy with creative work, it is possible to permanently eliminate criminal activities from the society. And for this purpose, we all have to come forward unitedly.
Narsingdi Poura BNP president AKM Golam Kabir Kamal, general secretary Faruk Uddin Bhuiyan, Rabiul Islam Robi, Siddiqur Rahman Nahid and other leaders and activists were present at the event.
