NDS holds speech competition prize-giving ceremony

Noakhali Debating Society organised a prize-giving ceremony for the winners of its Online Speech Competition 2026 on Sunday.
The event was held at the Shaheed Cadet Sergeant Rumi Building of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) at 4:00pm. Ten students who emerged victorious in the online speech competition were awarded prizes at the programme.
Assistant Professor of NSTU and one of the advisers of the Noakhali Debating Society, Abdul Karim, attended the programme as the chief guest.
Speaking at the event, Abdul Karim said, “Debate is one of the important means of practising free thought and engaging in co-curricular activities.
General Secretary of the Noakhali Debating Society Md Fahad Hossain, Joint General Secretary Khairul Hasan, Assistant Organising Secretary Abdur Rahman, Bangla Debate Secretary Tanzilur Rahman Muaz and Assistant Finance Secretary Md Abdul Muhi were also present at the programme.
