Allegations have been made against controversial content creator and NCP leader Nuruzzaman Kafi for constructing a road by occupying the recorded land of Khepupara Government Model Secondary School in Kalapara, Patuakhali.

The concerned people also alleged that Kafi threatened the school's headmaster Abdur Rahim in various ways for obstructing the illegal construction of the road. Kafi built the road to access the land he purchased about a week ago.

Accused Nuruzzaman Kafi is the son of teacher Habibur Rahman, a resident of Rajpara village in Tiakhali union of the upazila. Kafi officially joined the National Citizens Party (NCP) on April 24, 2026.

According to school sources, the school authorities purchased 3 acres 33 percent of the land from Khanjan Ali Howlader of Rajpara Mouza in 1954, 3 acres 33 percent from Mubarak Ali in 1959, 29 acres 18 percent from ADFC Bank auction in 1967 and 4 acres 80 percent from several other owners at different times. The school authorities have been occupying these lands for years. Out of the 40 acres 64 percent of the school's land, the rent of 21 acres 76 percent of the land of BS 12 Khatian No. 9 of Rajpara Mouza has been paid till Bangabandhu 1432. After the school was nationalized in 2018, these lands were deeded in the name of the Secretary of the Ministry of Education as per government rules. Last week, Nuruzzaman Kafi constructed the road by occupying 6 percent of the land on the northern side of the six-lane road from this land.

Headmaster A. Rahim said, 'A week ago, in the dark of night, content cricketer Nuruzzaman Kafi occupied about 6 percent of the 21 acres of land located next to the six-lane and constructed a road. I am seeking the administration's intervention to recover the school's land.'

Md. Nuruzzaman Kafi said, I have purchased land behind that land. But there is no road for movement. That is why I proposed to buy the land to the school principal. Then the sir said that the school land has been given in the name of the Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. He asked me to contact them.

Kalapara UNO Md. Arifuzzaman said, "I came to know about the matter through you. We are investigating and verifying the truth. If he has occupied the school land, then legal action will be taken against him."
