Nafco Group holds farmers’ rally in Kotalipara to promote Hybrid Paddy

Nafco Private Limited organized a farmers’ field rally in Kotalipara upazila, Gopalganj, to showcase the yield potential of its Nafco Hybrid Paddy-2, drawing local growers to discuss its benefits.
The event took place on Saturday afternoon at the Madinatul Ulum Madrasa premises in Tarashi-Pabnarpara village. Chaired by farmer Hitu Talukder, the rally featured Nafco Group Chairman SM Huda as the chief guest.
Speakers included Nafco’s Sales Manager Rashedul Islam, Area Manager Zakir Hossain, and Assistant Agriculture Officers Sumon Maitra and Pradeep Halder.
Earlier that morning, farmers harvested one decimal (one-hundredth of an acre) of ripened Nafco Hybrid Paddy-2, yielding 57 kg after threshing—a result highlighted as evidence of its high productivity.
In his address, SM Huda said, “Nafco Hybrid Paddy-2 has created a buzz nationwide for its yield and quality. Developed by China’s renowned Zhongyi Seed Company, it’s a super-quality hybrid seed.”
Hitu Talukder shared, “I’ve profited from cultivating Nafco paddy. It gives higher and earlier yields compared to other varieties. This year, I planted it on 20 bighas of land.”
