MP Mosharraf Hossain donates ambulance to Nandigram Municipality to ease sufferings of patients

On the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day, Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Member of Parliament for Bogura-4 (Kahalu-Nandigram) constituency and General Secretary (Acting) of Bogra District BNP, has gifted an ambulance to make medical services more accessible to the people of Nandigram Municipality, Bogura .
He handed over the keys of the ambulance to the municipality leaders at a ceremony organized at the Nandigram Municipality office on Saturday (November 7) afternoon.
At that time, MP Md. Mosharraf Hossain said, medical services are one of the basic needs of the people. It is very important to quickly reach the hospital for sick and critical patients. Many times, patients have to suffer because they do not get an ambulance on time. The main purpose of gifting this ambulance to Nandigram Municipality is to reduce the suffering of the common people and stand by them in times of emergency.
He urged the municipality authorities to maintain the ambulance properly and operate the service through transparent and people-friendly management.
Nandigram UNO M. Abdullah Ibne Masud Ahmed, Upazila BNP President Alauddin Sarkar, General Secretary Belayet Hossain Adar, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Iqbal Mahmud Liton, Nandigram Municipality Secretary Shahin Mahmud, Upazila BNP Organizing Secretaries Abdul Hakim and Yasin Ali were present at the event.
Also present were Municipal BNP President Alexander, General Secretary K. M. Shafiul Alam Sumon, Organizing Secretaries Golam Mostafa and Enamul Haque Bachchu, Upazila Jubo Dal's former Senior Joint Convener Abdur Rouf Rubel, former Municipal Jubo Dal's Convener Golam Rabbani, and Senior Joint Convener Mehedi Hasan Shahin.
Also present at the event were Sadar Union No. 2 BNP President Abu Bakkar Siddique LR, Upazila Chhatra Dal General Secretary Mostafizur Rahman Tarek, Municipal Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Hasan Palin, General Secretary Nur Nabi Ahmed, and leaders and activists from various levels of BNP and its affiliated organizations.
The concerned officials hope that through this new ambulance service, the sick, helpless and people in need of urgent medical treatment in the Nandigram municipal area will have the opportunity to travel to the hospital quickly.
