Motorcycle, van collide head-on in Pangsha

A head-on collision occurred between a motorcycle and a van in Pansha, Rajbari. 2 people were injured in the incident.
The incident took place on Friday at around 12:30 noon at Hena More in Babupara Union, upazila, on the Rajbari-Kushtia regional highway. The motorcycle driver and a female passenger in the van were injured. Among the injured, the female passenger in the van is in critical condition.
The injured woman is Jim Khatun (26), wife of Sohan Hossain of Kolanagar village in Sarisha UP of the upazila.
It is learned that the passenger van was going from Pangsha to Hena More. At that time, a Rajbari-bound motorcycle leaving from Kushtia hit a van hard in front of Hena More. As a result, a passenger in the van was seriously injured and the motorcycle driver was injured.
Locals rescued the seriously injured passenger in the van and took him to Pangsha Health Complex. As the patient's condition was critical, the doctor on duty referred him to Faridpur Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.
