Bagerhat, BNP leaders and activists held a special prayer meeting for the unity of the party and the swift recovery of the country's leader, Begum Khaleda Zia.

This prayer meeting was organized on Saturday morning at Fulhata Bazaar in Bagerhat, where important discussions took place regarding the party's future strategies.

The chief guest at the event was Kazi Khairuzzaman Shipon, former vice-president of Bagerhat district BNP and a nominee for the Bagerhat-4 seat. In his speech, Shipon stated, "After a long wait, the country’s leader Begum Khaleda Zia has finally reached her children, and we are hopeful that she will receive proper treatment. Today marks the beginning of a new hope for us." Shipon also remarked, "The autocratic government had blocked Begum Khaleda Zia’s travel abroad through false cases. However, through the unity of the party, we will overcome this injustice and adversity. Unity, not division, is our strength."

The meeting was chaired by Ali Ashraf Fakir, president of Baharboni Union BNP in Morrelganj. Other speakers included Sheikh Abdul Alim Khokon, a member of district BNP, and Shikdar Faridul Islam, the convenor of Morrelganj Municipality BNP. They emphasized the importance of party unity and stated, "The unity of BNP is the key to overcoming future challenges."

At the end of the discussion, Hafiz Maulana Shah Ali conducted a special prayer for the swift recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia.

After the event, leaders and activists expressed that this prayer meeting was not just for one leader, but a symbol of the party’s unity. The event spread a new sense of enthusiasm and a message of party solidarity, which has sparked feelings of strength and unity among the members.
