3 arrested for shooting tea staller in Ashulia

Ashulia police arrested three accused for their alleged involvement in the shooting of a tea staller Soinik Rahman Sahin. However, the weapon used in the crime is yet to be recovered.
Ashulia police station OC Nur-e-Alam Siddique confirmed the matter on Saturday afternoon said, the arrestees were sent to the court with a seven-day remand plea & raid are being conducted to arrest the others.
The arrestees were identified as Kala Parvez and his associates Yar Hossain and Khokon. They were arrested from Gorat area of Ashulia on Friday night.
According to the Ashulia police, on the afternoon of January 9, miscreants shot tea staller Soinik Rahman Sahin in the left leg after he failed to pay extortion in Gorat, Ashulia. Later he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Nazma Begum, the mother of the injured tea staller filed a case at Ashulia police station naming 5 people.
