Meherpur Zila Parishad awards scholarships to 70 meritorious students

Keeping the slogan 'Bangladesh first' in mind, the Meherpur Zila Parishad has organized a scholarship distribution ceremony-2026 among the meritorious and talented students of the district. On Tuesday.
Scholarship money and honors were awarded to 70 meritorious students of the district in a ceremony organized in the hall of Meherpur District Council. Alhaj Javed Masud Milton, Administrator of Meherpur Zila Parishad and President of District BNP, was present as the chief guest at the ceremony. District Education Officer Md. Abdur Rahim was present as the special guest. The ceremony was presided over by the Chief Executive Officer (Acting) of the District Council, H. M. Salauddin Manju.
Chief guest Zila Parishad Administrator Alhaj Javed Masud Milton said, “Education is the main foundation for the development and progress of a nation. Meritorious students will lead Bangladesh in the future.
Officers and employees of the District Council, concerned persons of the Education Department, teachers, guardians and scholarship recipients were present at the event. The event was hosted by the Chief Assistant of Zila Parishad Zahidul Islam Zahid.
