Govt taking steps to build child-friendly infrastructure, create learning-thru'-play environ: Bobby Hajjaj

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj has said the government has taken effective steps to move away from conventional textbook-centric learning by fostering child-friendly infrastructure and environments that encourage learning through play.
Speaking as the chief guest at an orientation workshop for head teachers on the "School Feeding Program in Government Primary Schools" and an exchange meeting on improving primary education quality at the PTI Auditorium in Chittagong on Tuesday, the state minister emphasized that special priority is being given to providing educational toys, materials, and child-friendly spaces to boost children's creativity.
Highlighting ongoing measures to enhance educational standards, elevate teacher facilities, and ensure hundred percent student attendance, Bobby Hajjaj noted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the administration has successfully fulfilled the majority of action targets set for the first 180 days in office, often surpassing initial benchmarks
"The government is sparing no effort to strengthen the primary education system," he added.
The event was chaired by Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Zahidul Islam Miah, with Divisional Commissioner of Chittagong Dr. Md. Ziauddin attending as a special guest. Additional Director General of the Directorate of Primary Education, the project director for the school feeding program, local education administration officials, and head teachers from across the district's upazilas were also present.
