College student missing for 4 days in Bhandaria

An 18-year-old housewife and HSC examinee has been missing for four days after leaving her home to sit for an examination in Bhandaria Upazila under Pirojpur district.
The missing student, Nasrin Nahar Begum, 18, is the wife of Sojol Amin, son of the late Abdus Sattar Bepari from Uttar Vitabaria village in Bhandaria Upazila.
According to family sources, Nasrin, a student at Amannullah College in the upazila, left her in-laws' residence on August 9 to appear for her HSC (BM stream) examination at her designated center. However, she mysteriously disappeared before reaching the examination hall.
Following her disappearance, her mother-in-law, Monowara Begum, filed a GD with Bhandaria Police Station on the same day.
Family members shared that Nasrin married Sojol Amin on May 2, 2025, and continued her studies at Amannullah College following the marriage.
Confirming the matter, Bhandaria Police Station OC Dewan Jaglul Hasan said, a GD was lodged by the missing student's family, and law enforcement officers are conducting investigations to trace and rescue her.
