Legal Aid campaign, quiz competition held in Natore

Campaign meetings and quiz competitions were held in Natore to provide free government legal aid. The meeting was held at Jangli Hamidia Fazil Madrasa of Sadar Upazila at around 10 am on Monday.
Senior District and Sessions Judge Amlan Kusum Jishnu was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Senior Assistant Judge and District Legal Aid Officer Ismat Ara Tushi gave a welcome speech on the occasion under the chairmanship of Madrasah Principal Md. Jalal Uddin.
Speaking on the occasion, the Senior District and Sessions Judge said that the appointed lawyers headed by a full-time Legal Aid Officer are handling the cases of the organization free of charge.
Wealthy individuals can also settle any of their civil and criminal disputes through this office. Prizes were awarded later among the winners of the student participation in the Quiz Competition on Legal Aid.
