Khaleda Zia to leave for US via UK in Dec for medical treatment

Former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has prepared to travel abroad for advanced medical treatment in December.
Khaleda Zia and her entourage are set to leave for the United Kingdom in the 2nd week of the month.
During her stay in London, Khaleda Zia is expected to reunite with her elder son, Tarique Rahman, for the first time in nearly eight years.
According to sources, she is expected to travel to the United States for further treatment.
On Wednesday, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia provided biometric information after visiting the US embassy in Dhaka to complete her visa application.
Khaleda Zia has been battling multiple health issues, including liver cirrhosis, heart disease, lung and kidney complications, arthritis, and diabetes.
