Fascist Awami League systematically destroyed education system: Whip Dulu
Natore Correspondent
Parliamentary Whip and Member of Parliament for Natore-2 (Sadar-Naldanga) Advocate Ruhul Kudduz Talukdar Dulu stated on Friday that the former Awami League regime systematically dismantled the country's education system to undermine the nation's future.
He made the remarks as the chief guest at a reception ceremony held at Jhaustala Mariam School in Patuapara, Natore town.
Addressing the gathering, Whip Dulu asserted that erasing a nation's progress requires destroying its educational foundation, which he alleged was the deliberate strategy of the previous administration. He noted that during the Awami League's tenure, students received top grades with minimal academic effort or blank examination scripts. He stated that under Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's government, these superficial practices have been eliminated, ensuring that academic success now depends strictly on merit and study.
Dulu highlighted that the current BNP government allocated the highest portion of the budget to the education sector in the last fiscal year, reiterating that education remains the backbone of the nation.
Chaired by Mariam School Headmistress Sister Shilpi Perera RNMG, the event was addressed by Special Guest Anna Minj MP (Reserved Seat for Natore-Naogaon), Director of St. Fabrice Dialogue Centre Father Dino Giacominelli PIME, Joint Conveners of District BNP Mostafizur Rahman Shaheen and Saiful Islam Aftab, and former Natore Municipal Mayors Kazi Shah Alam and Emdadul Haq Al Mamun.
